This was last Christmas Eve (December 24, 2010) when my family had our yearly Christmas party and exchange gifts where everyone gives gifts to everyone! It's just ironic that we took loads of photos that night yet I didn't get to take a decent outfit photo for my blog. Oh my.
But I have two excuses for that:
1. I was the official photographer! ^_^ See my camera hanging on my neck? There. And now I know why it sucks to be in charge of photos on fun times like this--you don't get to be in any of the photos you take! Unless you're not as lazy as I am to set up the tripod and use self-timer and if there's someone else also taking pictures and you have to take every chance you get whenever that other person decides to take her shots! Haha
2. I was way too busy having fun! I tend to forget a lot of things when I'm too happy. First, I forgot to wear my DMs cuz I was too excited to go to my grandmother's place (where all the fun happens) and then I forgot to take a picture of my little black velvet dress! :P
Well, I'm not really pissed about not being able to take an outfit shot considering it's my first time to wear that black velvet Forever21 dress I got last November. Besides, I wasn't even as dressed up as I have planned. I mean, look at my silly polar bear hat?! Haha I was wearing a flower headband earlier that night but when I saw my cousins wear their stuffed animal headgears, I decided to wear mine too! :P
So, there you go. My fun fun fun Christmas Eve in photos! Christmas Eve is definitely my favorite time of the year! Yes, I love it even more than my own birthday! And no, not just because of the food, the gifts and the fun but because of the people I'm with. My family. It's that time of the year when I thank God that I'm celebrating another Christmas and starting another year with them. It doesn't even matter how much food and gifts we had because the fact that we're together is already more than enough. :)
Hope you guys had a blast too! :P
Making the most out of my black/gray obsession before I go on a Wear More Colors Mission next year! Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! x...

Doc Martens - Thrifted
If there's one problem I'd like to solve about my style in 2011, its gotta be my choice of colors---or lack thereof.
I wear too much black, white and grays. It's become an obsession and I'm kinda stuck on it already. I think half of my closet is filled with blacks and grays and whites. I do have some colored stuff but as the stubborn person that I am, the only color I actually recognize/acknowledge and allow myself to wear, is fuschia pink. LOL. And I'm not even sure if I spelled it right.
So because of that, I think I finally got 1 item on my New Year's Resolution!
1. Less black/white/gray and more reds, blues, purples and greens and yellows...and hopefully I would be strong enough to stop wearing a shitload of pink too.
But I'm currently thinking of what to wear tomorrow on my family's Christmas Party and guess what color came into my mind first? Oh gosh, wearing black is such a hard habit to break.
One last thing: I am also aware of my obsession with these boots. I really am stuck on these DMs. But I don't see that as a problem to solve (yet) because I'm still as in love with it as I was when I first wore it. It's a habit I'd definitely love to live with. In fact, I'm even going to wear it for Christmas. Yes, it's that special to me that it has to be part of every precious moment of my life. ^_^

Just dropping by to say "Hi!" and how I missed this blog! I've so many things to share to all of you but Lord knows how freakin busy I am right now that I barely have a second to even check myself out in the mirror! For all we know I probably look like a homeless person right now-haven't showered, haven't brushed my hair--or my teeth...okay that was a joke. But seriously, I think my dog is starting to look better than me these past few days since I got back from a super tiring educational tour. It's a long story so I'll be back with photos!
I miss you blog! :P
Please pray that amidst this crazy hectic schedule, I would at least get a chance to post a holiday outfit! ^__^

Dress - Topshop
DMs - Thrifted
I still haven't found time to take photos of my recent thrifted finds and I'm panicking already! I'm gonna be even busier than hell in the coming days: take videos, edit videos, make DVDs, check DVDs by watching them one by one! I can see myself stuck at home without even catching a glimpse of the sun in the coming days. *sob* What a way to jumpstart the holidays! But it's okay. I just might pop by once in a while to say hello! ^___^
Hey guys! I'm back from my mini-blog-leave! Although I might be going on a major one in the coming weeks--which is a total bummer and so...
Anyway, my cousin and I went out for groceries yesterday and I saw this thriftshop on SALE! LOL. To be honest, I am sometimes shocked at how freakin cheap I am to be literally jumping for joy when a thriftshop goes on sale! As if their stuff weren't cheap enough? hihi
You guys would congratulate me for the stuff I found! I got a black blazer with pointed shoulders that reminds me a lot of those badass Balmain blazers! (Weee! It's so gorgeous I swear!) I also got a cute floral mini-dress and a grunge-y top but I'm gonna have to blog about them separately!
So that's why I dropped by today to share one of my latest thrifted find that I revamped with a little DIY project!
I stayed up late for this DIY project and because I'm a lazyass and a sleepyhead, I decided not to put the studs in proper alignment. I thought, if they don't come out properly lined up, I'm gonna get all pissy and abort the mission. So, to keep things simple, I just randomly poked those wittle studs on each sides of the vest and...
From OH-SO-BORING to NOT-SO-BORING-ANYMORE....BADASS even! :P Oh how I love the way studs give an instant "woah" factor to something plain and simple. I can't wait to wear my new vest and show y'all how it looks on me!
So what do you guys think? Are the studs too much or just enough? Do you think it'll look better in proper alignment or do they look fine in a mess? I'd really love to hear from all of yoU! ^__^

Taylor Momsen is starting to scare the shit out of me. I mean, I know, I've said before that I have unconditional love for her but after seing THIS PHOTO of her in THAT OUTFIT and THAT MAKEUP?
I... don't... even...
Seriously, what the hell happened to her? Have I been away for too long? The last time I checked Taylor-momsen.net, looking for cool inspirational outfits, I couldn't decide which photos of her to save and which looks to copy cuz I loved every single thing she wore!
But now, I can barely choose a decent photo. You know, a photo where she doesn't look like a Dead Gothic Barbie or a wicked teenage witch whore? All her looks from the last few months were just completely questionable. She only looked good on some of the magazine scans but of course that's because someone else had styled her for those shoots. I'm talking of her candids, stuff she wore to places she went to and shows she had with her band--outfits she'd put together herself. But I couldn't find anything nice anymore! Everything just looked wrong.
I understand she's all rock and roll right now but is it mandatory for rock chicks to look...I don't know...a walking corpse? The devil's underage mistress? Frankenstein's evil baby sister? I just don't get that dog collar, red eye make up and black lipstick. She's been looking like she's on a halloween parade every day and I don't understand why! Christmas is coming! Why doesn't she smile anymore?
And why the fuck does she have to wear that hideous black leather collar-like thing on her neck like a freakin' dog? UGH. I'm sorry for over reacting but it just makes no sense to me at all. Isn't she leading a charmed life? Being on Gossip Girl, and fronting an awesome rock band, and having so many girls look up to her and her once-upon-a-time amazing style?
It's just sad and devastating because I loved her! I used to really really love her! But now, I don't know. This girl is like a disease. More like, cancer--getting uglier by the day. Tragic. Very very tragic.
Oh my. Let's all gather and pray for Taylor Momsen's quick recovery from trainwreck-hood.
Okay, I'm done. But just because I'm dissing Taylor tonight doesn't mean I'd hate her for the rest of my life. Who knows? Maybe this is just a phase? You know, teenagers go through stuff like this. PHASES. I myself went through a hiphop phase, wearing baggy jeans and tiny tops that shows off my hipbones. And then I went to skater/punk phase too when I tried so hard to be a clone of Avril Lavigne back in highschool and in my early days at college!
So I say, let's not close our hearts to Taylor Momsen yet, yeah? One of these days, she might wake up and realize that acting and dressing up like a zombie prostitute doesn't look cool anymore--and she might actually go back to being cool and start practicing the act of smiling again. ^__^
